Yes, yet another trep in limp mode with a code 700. I did a search on the forums and read up on the input/output speed sensors, and so I am pretty confident this is my problem. All the symptoms add up: stuck in 2nd gear, no speedometer. My tach works OK so I gather it is the output sensor that is bad. I was able to find them OK but I can barely get my hands up there! Does anyone who has replaced theirs have any tips on how to get to them?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give. This source of info is really great. My Haynes manual says absolutely NOTHING about the sensors or limp mode. I would be at the mercy of the dealer if not for all of the helpful info here!
