Location of Stock Amp?

I know it was posted before, but I can't seem to find it. Anyway, it's time to install my amp and subs and I figure the best place to grab a line level input is at the stock Infinity amp.

Where might I find that?

Where have others taken the sub amps signal from?

the installer who ran my sub/amp ran the line out connectors right off the head unit

You would be referring to using the preouts on the H/U. That is the way to do it. If you use the existing speaker lines, your sound won't be near as clear.

Actually the reason you don't want to use high level inputs is that the bass would be "delayed" as compared to the rest of the music.

I just figured it would be easier to grab the signal off the amp as opposed to the head unit.
