By speed sensor I assume you mean the top speed limiter. As far as I know this can't be done without changing the computer module

Sysman, like u, I wanted all n now but having both cars (ES_RT) next to each other I found 5000 reason not to pick a r/t ...there is not a big gap between the 2 on the 2002 models to justify such money; correct me please

I'm a 2000 R/T owner, so I haven't looked at the 2002's that close.

The 2000 R/T comes standard with the following, plus other stuff:

Better anti-lock brakes, 17" Michelin tires, the Autostick, heavy-duty engine cooling, performance suspension and steering, fog lamps, and of course the 3.5 Magnum, with no speed limiter.

Seemed well worth it to me at the time.

 

Even though on the 2002 models the ES and the R/T both have the 3.5l engine, the R/T has the high output version which gives it about 10 more horsepower. No big deal really, but the R/T, like sysman said, also comes with other goodies..

 

The 2002 R/T has the the autostick whereas the 2002 ES only gets the regular 4 speed.
