the flange looks very bad after i removed the EGR tube in 99/2.7L, which connect to intake manifold.

it seems not looks like a metal gasket.

i check with local autoshop.

they do not carry it at all.

now, what can i use for it?

The gaskets between the EGR valve and the engine and the EGR valve and the tubes are a composite metal clad gasket (high heat gasket material sandwiched between two thin pieces of metallic film)...The gasket between the tubes and the intake plenum are silicone rings..All of them should be avaliable at parts house or dealer...

the silicon ring looks still fine. but the one between the tube and valve is definitely vanish.

since i do not have time to wait.

i just join them metal by metal after sanding each of them.

i do not hear any sound from there right now.

i will check with dealer asap.

thanks
